Following completion of a masters degree in pharmacy Ian spent 8 years working in the pharmaceutical industry developing drugs for clinical trials and manufacturing parenteral nutrition.

After deciding to follow his passion for music and a brief stint as a music producer, he joined Chards as a project manager overseeing a new website and bringing all of our systems into the digital 21st century.

Having always had an interest in the economy, current affairs and investments Ian has contributed to content on the website from our investment guides, coin collecting guides and commentary on geopolitical events affecting the precious metals market.
