Chards Visits The Royal Mint
Synopsis
On 29th November 2022, Chards travelled to beautiful Wales to visit the official maker of British coins, the Royal Mint! It took over 5 hours to make the journey from Blackpool, but it was well worth it!
The Royal Mint Christmas Tour Experience
When we arrived at the Mint, we were excited to see that the elves had been out in all their glory. It looked to be straight out of the north pole!
On arrival, we were greeted with the Royal Mint Christmas Tour Experience!
With the tour being the Christmas edition, of course it wouldn't have been complete without Santa himself. Despite being on Santa's naughty list, we were still allowed to proceed on with the rest of the tour.
During our visit at the Royal Mint, we saw how British coins are manufactured before they are circulated to millions across the United Kingdom.
The history that the Royal Mint holds is expressed in coins throughout the years. With the dies on show, and multiple games to enjoy, it's certainly a place you wouldn't want to miss.
