The 1907 gold full sovereign features the bare head portrait of the late King Edward VII, with the classic depiction os St George battling a dragon being shown on the reverse. 

This 1907 Edward VII Sydney mint sovereign is struck in 22 carat gold. This British gold coin bears the famous St George and the Dragon engraving by Benedetto Pistrucci.

1907 Sovereigns were issued by the Australian branch mints of The Royal Mint; Melbourne, Perth and Sydney, as well as London.

Reverse

The 1907 Edward VII Sydney mint sovereign features Benedetto Pistrucci's famous engraving of St George killing a dragon.

This 22 carat gold coin was created by the Sydney mint in Australia. The mintmark, S is located in the exergue line below the slain dragon.
