You can visit our showroom, by appointment only between the following times:
Monday - Thursday 10:00 - 16:30 (last appointment is 4:00pm)
Friday 9:30 - 16:00 (last appointment is 3:30pm)
We are also happy to answer any enquiries or fix prices over the telephone between the following times:
Monday - Friday 09:30 - 16:00
Messages can be left with our receptionist team outside of these hours and when our call volumes reach capacity during business hours. We will respond to all messages within 2 business days.
We are closed on all bank and public holidays.
Delivery information
We aim to despatch orders within 2 working days of receiving cleared funds. Our standard delivery methods are as follows:
Orders over £60 - Fully Insured Delivery.
Within the UK and BFPO - Next day fully insured and tracked. Delivery starts from £6.
Any orders over £20,000 will be sent in several parcels, over consecutive days.
Orders under £60
Within the UK and BFPO - Royal Mail 2nd Class. Your order will normally arrive within 2-3 working days. Delivery starts from £3.50.
Optional Next Day - Next day delivery can be selected on any order. See information above for details.
If you wish to have your order sent by an alternative method (e.g., Saturday Guaranteed) please contact 01253 343081 for more information. Please note, we will not despatch high value orders over a bank holiday weekend.

Buying From Chards - How We Calculate Postage
In order to calculate a final postage, we have our actual transit costs to cover plus additional insurance costs:
UK
Standard Delivery (Royal Mail 2nd Class) is only available for orders with a value below £60:
<1000 grams = £3.50
1000-2000 grams = £6.00
2000-10000 grams = £15
10000-20000 grams = £22
Next Day Fully Insured and Tracked Delivery:
<1000 grams = £6
1000-2000 grams = £11
2000-10000 grams = £26.6
10000-20000 grams = £41.2
Postage Insurance
We offer fully insured delivery on all special delivery options. We do need to pass on the cost of this insurance as it soon adds up shipping high value gold and silver products.
Orders < £1500 there is no additional fee.
Orders > £1500 we charge a fee to cover the increasing costs of insurance. For every £1500 we apply a £1 fee.
Example Orders with Postage
Gold products worth £2350 and weighing 125 grams with packaging:
Postage = £6
Insurance = £1
Total = £7
Silver products worth £1250 and weighing 2500 grams with packaging:
Postage = £26.60
Insurance = £1
Total = £27.60
Selling to Chards - How We Calculate Postage
We offer an insured distance buy-in service where you can sell from anywhere in the UK without leaving your house. We calculate the postage as follows:
For items up to the value of £20,000 or 10kg shipped UK domestic:
£40 per parcel plus an extra £1 for every £1000 value of the item being sold.
For example, if you sell 20 sovereigns with a value of £4,000, postage will be £44 (£40 +£4).
If you have a parcel exceeds 10kg you can contact us for a custom quote.

We ship to most countries in the world with the following exceptions:

Saudi Arabia - requires a declaration
