Battle of Trafalgar

The Battle of Trafalgar was a naval conflict that took place on October 21st 1805 during the Napoleonic Wars. The conflict took place in the Cape Traflagar, southern Spain and was a major British success. During this battle it saw the death of one of Britains greatest Naval Captain, Horatio Nelson.

Obverse

The obverse features the fourth definitive UK coin portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley and the inscription:

Reverse

The reverse features two British ships, HMS Victory and Temeraine in the midst of the battle. Dated "1805" and "2005" designed by Clive Duncan.

    These may have minor scratches or edge knocks, but this does not affect their value. Any coin sold for a value less than a 180% intrinsic is considered a bullion coin.

    Investment gold products are VAT-free, while silver products include VAT.
  • Cancellations & Returns:

    Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
