Reverse

The reverse is designed by veteran Royal Mint coinage artist John Bergdahl and depicts Vulcan, the god of fire, holding up a hammer to represent the Olympic sport of hammer throwing. 'Fortius' is an Old English Latin word that, when translated into modern English, means 'stronger.'

In addition, the five Olympic rings can be seen at the top of the design, with a legend that reads as follows:

Cancellations & Returns:
Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
