2014 Gold Proof Eagle 4-Coin Set.

This is you chance to own a full collection of the 2014 gold eagle coins. Issued by the US Mint, these coins are stuck from 22-carat gold (0.9167 fineness).

The set contains four coins: 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz and 1/10 oz, which are given the denominations of 50 dollars, 25 dollars, 10 dollars and 5 dollars resepectively. The total set contains 1.85 troy ounces of the precious metal.

The coins in the set are presented in a blue case, along with a certificate of authenticity from The United States Mint.

The United States of America is probably the largest coin collectors' market in the world. The bullion Eagle was introduced by the US Mint in 1986 to meet the growing demand for bullion in America. The American Eagle issued in both gold and silver, is a popular coin with both investors and collectors.

Obverse

The obverse bears American sculptor, Augustus Saint-Gauden's full length figure of Liberty holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The engraver's initials ASG are in relief below the year date to the right of the figure.

Reverse

The reverse features a large eagle carrying an olive branch, flying above a nest containing a female eagle and eaglets. The coins also bear the inscription:

E PLURIBUS UNUM - IN GOD WE TRUST

They also bear their weight and denomination.

These may have minor scratches or edge knocks, but this does not affect their value. Any coin sold for a value less than a 180% intrinsic is considered a bullion coin.
VAT:
Investment gold products are VAT-free, while silver products include VAT.
Cancellations & Returns:
Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
