Brilliant Uncirculated

Issued by The Royal Mint in 2015, this gold coin is struck in a brilliant uncirculated finish. The coin bears the famous St George and the Dragon engraving on the reverse. This coin is British legal tender and is free from Capital Gains Tax making it popular with investors looking for gold with numismatic interest.

Quintuple Sovereigns

Sovereigns can be issued in a number of different sizes and finishes. The £5 quintuple sovereign is the largest size that is issued. Brilliant uncirculated is a fairly recent grade, coins struck in this finish are struck twice to achieve a more defined finish.

Two Portraits

In 2015 it saw the arrival of a new portait by Jody Clark, resulting in their being two different obverse portraits for the quintuple sovereign.

The reverse bears the iconic St George and the Dragon engraving by Benedetto Pistrucci - his surname is set in relief to the left of the date 2010 in exergue.

Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
