Prince Philip

Prince Philip retired from his Royal duties on August 2nd, 2017. During his time in service he conducted around 22,219 solo engagements. This five pound crown is a piedfort finish which is double the thickness and weight of the proof coin.

Obverse

The Jody Clark portrait of Queen Elizabeth II appears on the obverse of the coins. The inscription reads:

Reverse

Designed by Lee R Jones, engraver at The Royal Mint, the portrait of Prince Philip is based upon a design by Humphrey Paget. The coin bears the inscription:

Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
