The 1883 Sweden Gold 10 Kronor NGC MS-66 Coin was minted at the Royal Scandinavian Mint and has a total mintage just short of 149,000.
This coin weighs 4.48g (0.1296 troy ounces) of 21.6 carat gold, struck in 0.900 fineness.
Graded and slabbed by the Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) with the fourth highest grade of MS-66.
Oscar II
Oscar II reigned Sweden as the King from 18th September 1872 - 8 December 1907. Oscar II's coronation took place in Sweden on the 12th May 1873.
MS-66 Grade
This coin was given the grade of MS-66 which means the coin is very well struck with minimal marks and hairlines based upon the Sheldon Grading System.
Obverse
The obverse features King Oscar II in the centre of the coin. There is also an inscription legend around the portrait of Oscar II that reads as:
OSCAR II SVERIGES OCH NORGES KONUNG LA *1876*
Reverse
The reverse features the Crowned mantled arms, initals and has the reverse legend reads as:
