This is the 1971 Bahamas 4-Coin Gold Proof Set. The coins were produced by The Royal Canadian Mint on behalf of the Government of the Bahamas.
The gold coins are struck from 0.9167 (22 carat) fine gold. The set contain 2.118 oz of the precious metal.
Only 1,250 of these sets were issued. These sets do not come with certificates, and the outer box may vary. Some are packaged in a white box, whilst others are in a red leatherette case.
Obverse
The obverse of each coin features the Arnold Machin coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.

Reverse
The reverse designs are as follows:
One hundred dollars - features the coat of arms with a sailing ship. The text reads:
EXPULSIS PIRATIS RESTITUTA COMMERCIA
This is Latin for "Pirates defeated, commerce restored".
Fifty dollars - shows the Santa Maria ship sailing on the water.
Twenty dollars - features a lighthouse with crashing waves.
Ten dollars - shows a fortress with palm trees and a flag.
