Containing 1.5034 and 1.9330 troy ounces of gold and silver respectively, the silver wedding coin set could make for a sound investment piece, with the limited mintage of 10,000 also making the set an attractive collectors' piece.

The obverse of the coins feature the second coin portrait of Elizabeth II by Arnold Machin with the inscription:
"QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND SILVER WEDDING 1972"
The reverse engravings featured across the 1972 Jersey silver wedding 9 coin set were designed by Norman Sillman. Each coin bears a different design:
The Arms of the Bailiwick of Jersey with the three gold lions passant guardant are derived from the Royal Seal which was granted in 1279 to the Bailiff of Jersey by Edward I.
