In 2002, the Channel Islands issued a set to commemorate the life of Princess Diana and the Memorial Fund which continues her charitable works.
The set include three £5 crowns, from Alderney, Guernsey and Jersey struck in a brilliant uncirculated finish.
Diana, Princess of Wales touched the lives of people all around the world. She had the unique ability to engage with people of all ages from all walks of life. Known as the People's Princess, Diana dedicated her life to her two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, and to charitable works both at home and abroad.
This three coin set issued by the Channel Islands commemorates her life and the memorial fund set up to continue her work.

Jersey £5 Crown and the Guernsey £5 Crown
Both coins feature the fourth coin portrait of Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley.

Designed by David Cornell, this engraving features an inset cameo with children who have been affected by war.
