2011 London Olympics 50 Pence Complete Collection

A series of fifty pence coins issued by the British Royal Mint in cupro-nickel.

This complete collection comes with the collector album but does not have the completers medal.

The coins are complete in their presentation card, but some may not have the outer packaging.

To celebrate London 2012, we've specially made 29 beautiful 50p coins depicting the sports of the Olympic and Paralympic Games which are available for you to collect. From Autumn 2010 the coins will start to appear as change in your pocket, so keep a look out! And if that's not exciting enough, we've also carefully polished and packaged each coin in the London 2012 sports collection into a really special set for you to build up into a unique and everlasting memento.

Due to popular demand, we've released all 29 coins early and they're available now, so buy yours today!

Obverse

The obverse shows the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of the Queen.

Reverse

The reverse shows a different sport for each coin with various designers, some being competition winners.

Each coin shows either the Paralympics or Olympics logo for London 2012 at the top of the coin and the denomination "50 Pence" at the bottom of each coin.

International Delivery

The responsibility lies with the buyer to pay duties and taxes to the local customs office. This includes any fees levied for parcels that are marked as returned to sender.

Bullion Coins:
These may have minor scratches or edge knocks, but this does not affect their value. Any coin sold for a value less than a 180% intrinsic is considered a bullion coin.
VAT:
Investment gold products are VAT-free, while silver products include VAT.
Cancellations & Returns:
Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
