Buy 2011 one ounce silver Philharmonic coins from the Austrian Mint!
The coins are .999 in fineness and have a face value of €1.50. These coins are sold as an investment product.
You can add 38mm capsules for just 50p each too.
After the success of the gold version of the coin, silver philharmonics were first introduced in 2008. Designed by Thomas Pesendorfer, the philharmonic is the most minted silver bullion coin in Europe.
The coins are loose coins, issued in tubes of 20. If you order in multiples of 20, we will include the tube at no extra cost. We also have various years available if you are looking for a particular year.
The denomination, or face value, is 1.50 Euro. The Austrian Mint explains:
"The face value of a bullion coin is appreciably lower than the value of its metal content. The somewhat unusual face value of 1.50 Euro on the new coin is explained by the fact that both the 1 Euro and 2 Euro are reserved for ordinary circulation in Europe."
The obverse shows the great organ in the Golden Hall in Vienna's concert hall (Musikverein) is the theme for the obverse side of the coin. This is the home of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
Also featured on this side are the face value in Euros plus the weight, fineness and year of issue.
The reverse depicts a harmonious design of musical instruments representing the world famous Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Inscribed are the words:

Bullion coins are provided as is and on occasion may have some minor scratches or edge knocks. These are not regarded as faulty or damaged goods as their precious metal content and value as a bullion coin is not affected. Any coin sold for a value less than a 180% intrinsic is considered a bullion coin.
Gold investment products are VAT free. Silver investment products are inclusive of VAT at the current rate unless otherwise stated.
All investment products are based on the live precious metal price. Prices will be fixed once the item has been added to the basket and recalculates just before checking out.
If your product is not a graded coin and is considered a bullion item, it should be noted that these are bought and sold on low premiums over their precious metal content and not solely for aesthetic purposes; therefore, some products may have edge knocks and/or marks. These edge knocks and marks do not alter the specifications of the coins.
Please note that all investment products are exempt from the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and therefore customers do not have the right to cancel their order once the order has been accepted.
