This coin is struck in 22 carat fineness and contains exactly one troy ounce of pure gold. Being a legal tender pound sterling coin, it is exempt from capital gains tax, having a face value of £100. The coin also exempt from VAT.
This coin comes loose and you can add a 33mm capsule or gift box to your order in the basket.

The 2012 Britannia gold coin is the last year that this uncirculated coin was struck in 22 carat gold. The Britannia is a popular bullion coin with gold investors as it is capital gains tax free. Whether the Britannia is struck in 22 carat or 24 carat, it contains one ounce of gold.
