Gold Britannia Coins
Gold Britannia coins were first issued in 1987 as a British alternative to popular bullion coins such as Krugerrands and Maples. Issued in one ounce, half ounce, quarter ounce, and tenth ounce sizes, the new Britannia bullion coins have a face value of £100, £50, £25, and £10 respectively.
