2019 Captain America One Ounce Silver Brilliant Uncirculated Coin. This is the 6th release in the Marvel Bullion Coin Series.
These coins were produced by Australia's Perth Mint on behalf of Tuvalu. Each coin is struck from 9999 silver and has a face value of $1. The coins have a maximum mintage of just 50,000.
Each coin comes in a protective capsule.
Captain America
The first Captain America comic book was released in March, 1941. The story follows Steve Rogers (Captain America), a supersoldier with enhanced reflexes, strength and speed. Captain America is known for his shield which is made of Vibranium, a fictional metal which can absorb and release kinetic energy.
Captain America was played by actor, Chris Evans in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Obverse
The obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley fourth coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
Reverse
The reverse features Captain America holding his shield. The stars from the US flag can be seen in the background.
