2019 'Moon Landing' Perth Mint Australian silver coins.
These 1oz bullion coins were issued by Australia's Perth Mint to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing.
Struck from 0.9999 fine silver. Each coin comes in a plastic capsule and has a face value of $1 Australian dollar.
Only 50,000 of the coins were minted.
The United States' Apollo 11 was the first crewed mission to land on the Moon, on the 20th July, 1969. The USA was engaged in a 'space race' to the Moon with the Soviet Union after American President John F. Kennedy proclaimed a national goal of 'landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to the Earth'.
Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin 'Buzz' Aldrin subsequently achieved this goal by becoming the first men to walk on the Moon.
The obverse shows the Australian coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. It was designed by Jody Clark.
Designed by Lucas Bowers, the reverse shows the Eagle lunar landing module, with a footprint in front of it.
The text reads:
MOON LANDING 1969-2019
The Perth Mint 'P' logo is visible in the field.

Gold investment products are VAT free. Silver investment products are inclusive of VAT at the current rate unless otherwise stated.
All investment products are based on the live precious metal price. Prices will be fixed once the item has been added to the basket and recalculates just before checking out.
If your product is not a graded coin and is considered a bullion item, it should be noted that these are bought and sold on low premiums over their precious metal content and not solely for aesthetic purposes; therefore, some products may have edge knocks and/or marks. These edge knocks and marks do not alter the specifications of the coins.
