This is the 2020 UK 1oz Silver Year of the Rat bullion coin. This lunar coin is part of the Royal Mint's Shengxiao Collection.
The coin is struck from 999 fine silver and contains one troy ounce of the precious metal.

Royal Mint Lunar Series
2020 is the year of the rat (or mouse). It officially starts on 25th January, 2020.
The rat is actually the first animal in the lunar cycle. The Royal Mint did not start to produce lunar coins until 2014, with the Year of the Horse, so the rat is only mid-way through their series.
Year of the Rat
Those born under the Year of the Rat / Mouse are said to be successful, clever and content with living a quiet life. Other years of the rat include 2008, 1996, 1984, 1972, 1960 and 1948.
Obverse
The obverse was designed by Jody Clark. It shows the fifth coinage effigy of Queen Elizabeth II.
Reverse
The reverse was designed by P.J. Lynch. It shows a rat amongst some foliage. The designer said:
Rats are such intelligent creatures. I tried to reflect those qualities when I was making my designs for the Year of the Rat coin.
