2021 Gothic Crown Victoria Portrait 2 oz Silver Proof Coin NGC PF-69 Ultra Cameo First Release

This is the 2021 Gothic Crown Victoria Portrait 2 oz Silver Proof Coin NGC PF-69 from the Royal Mint.

This coin is the fourth release in the Great Engravers Series, and features William Wyon's gothic portrait of Queen Victoria featured on this coin, as previously seen on Victoria gothic crown

These gold proof coins have been graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC), and have attained the grade of PF 69. It's worth noting the coins are also Ultra Cameo, meaning there's a high contrast between the matte and mirror finish on the design.

This product comes with the original Royal Mint box and numbered certificate of authenticity.

Victoria Gothic Crown

In 1847 the Victoria Gothic Crown was issued . The Obverse features a crowned bust of Queen Victoria with the quartered shield of arms pictured on the reverse,

Privy Council

The coin first came to light when the Privy Council, a group of senior politicians who advise the Queen on such matters as bank holidays, coinage and company statuses, published the information on a privy council notice. For new coins to be minted the Royal Mint must undergo an approval from the privy council. The Royal Mint will submit the design and will be notified by privy council notice if successful.

Obverse

The obverse shows the fifth coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, by Jody Clark.
