2021 Queen's Beasts 5 oz Silver Proof 'Completer' Coin
The Royal Mint launched their 10-coin Queen's Beasts Series in 2016, with the final coin being released in 2021. This 5 ounce silver coin features all ten beasts on the reverse design.
Issued by The Royal Mint, this coin is struck to a proof finish from 0.999 fine silver. Both sides of the coin were designed by Royal Mint engraver, Jody Clark.
This large coin has a diameter of 65 mm and a face value of £10.
This five ounce silver coin has a mintage of 435 coins and a limited edition presentation of just 300 coins.
The Queen's Beasts are a series of ten statues, created for Elizabeth II's coronation at Westmnister Abbey in 1953. They combine heraldic elements and mythical creatures, which each form a part of the Queen's royal ancestry.
The Royal Mint began their Queen's Beasts 10-coin series in 2016, with the final coin being issued in 2021. The series includes collectable and bullion coins, issued in gold silver, platinum and base metal.
Designed by Jody Clark, the obverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
