Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's Coronation with this 2003 Gold Proof Coronation Golden Jubilee £5 Coin.
Issued by the Royal Mint, this 22 carat gold five pound features new obverse and reverse designs, by Tom Phillips.
The gold proof coin comes issued in a presentation box, along with a certificate of authenticity from the Royal Mint. Only 3,000 of these coins were issued.

This coin marks 50 years since the coronation of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. After the sudden death of her father, King George VI, Elizabeth ascended the throne on 6th February 1952. Her coronation did not take place until 2nd June 1953.
The obverse shows a stylised depiction of Queen Elizabeth II by Tom Phillips. The text reads:
ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA F D
This translates to "'Elizabeth II by the grace of God Queen defender of the faith".
The reverse features the words "GOD SAVE THE QUEEN" in the centre, with "2003 CORONATION JUBILEE FIVE POUNDS" surrounding it. This was also designed by Tom Phillips.
