The 2017 100th Anniversary of the House of Windsor gold proof £5 crown is struck in 22 carat gold. Timothy Noad's engraving on the reverse features the heraldic badge of the House of Windsor.
The commemorative crown comes in a presentation box with a certificate of authentication and is issued to a limited mintage of 750 coin. This British legal tender gold proof coin is Capital Gains Tax exempt.

The reverse of the gold proof crown features an engraving of the House of Windsor heraldic badge by Timothy Noad. The badge contains the Round Tower at Windsor Castle surmounted by the Imperial Crown within a wreath of oak branches. The coin bears the inscription:
