This coin has been slabbed and graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) as a PF-69 ULTRA CAMEO grade.

The coin contains 39.94g of 22 carat gold (0.917 fineness). It contains 1.1771 troy ounces of the precious metal.

PF-69 is the second highest grade awarded by the NGC. This proof coin is struck with nearly imperceptible imperfections.

What happened in the United Kingdom in 2009?

A metal detectorist in 2009 discovered the Shrewsbury Hoard that had around 9,315 bronze Roman coins. The coins were discovered inside a large pot. The dates of the coins ranged from the 3rd - 4th century.

The obverse features the fourth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as designed by sculptor, Ian Rank-Broadley. It bears his intials IRB and an inscription that reads:

Reverse

The reverse of the 2009 quintuple sovereign features Benedetto Pistrucci's St George and the Dragon.

The Star rating should be 5 stars

The Star rating is not just 4 stars but it should have been 5 stars that will not light up, I have spent a lot of time looking on the internet at gold prices most 1oz is mainly at current gold values. However sovereigns have different pricing up to a third more, yet I found Chards prices are very fair prices which I have bought 3 sovereigns this year.
