The 2024 UK Annual Coin Sets
At Chards, we will have three of The Royal Mint's 2024 annual sets available on pre-order: the silver proof set, the base metal BU annual set, and the base metal BU definitive set. The chosen sets offer either 13 coins, which include both the eight 2024 definitive coins and five new commemorative coins, or an eight-coin set featuring only the definitive coins.
Silver Proof Annual - 13 Coin Set
The Silver Proof Annual Set is an anticipated collector's coin set, featuring a limited mintage of only 500 sets. Each set is presented in a Royal Mint presentation box and accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity for added assurance. This set comprises the 8-coin definitive collection, complemented by five new commemorative coins, all struck in 925 sterling silver to achieve a proof standard of quality. Only 500 of these sets will be issued.
Base Metal BU Annual - 13 Coin Set
This annual set, like the Silver Proof Annual Coin Set, comprises all 13 coins. However, these coins are standard base metal coins in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition, which means they are in better condition than typical 'normal' coins but not as pristine as proof-condition coins. Collectors can expect this annual set to be presented inside a presentation folder, ensuring the safekeeping of their coins.
Base Metal BU Definitive - 8 Coin Set
Thirdly, we offer the 2024 Annual Base Metal BU Definitive Set, comprising of the eight definitive coins issued in 2024.
